What can I do for you?

My training as a Deaconess and as a Doula mean I can serve you in the following ways:

• First of all, as a Deaconess, I will offer you spiritual care through scripture and prayer. These are the most important parts of my skillset.
• Second, during your pregnancy I will support you with information, emotional encouragement, birth training, etc. Think of me as your personal birth and labor library! Ask me any question, and if I don’t have the answer immediately, you can bet I’ll find one.
• Third, during your labor and delivery I will be with you when you give birth, in the hospital, in your home, at a birth center, wherever you are comfortable.
• Finally, many women find they need extra help and support after the birth of their gift from God. That’s where I come in! As your doula, if you choose, I can be there even after your labor and delivery. I can be there to give you a break so you can shower, I can help you with food or errands, the scope or limits of my help can be up to you! I offer lots of different options.

ABOUT ME

Deaconess Camille Cox

Maybe you’re wondering about the word before my name: “deaconess.” It means I was theologically trained as a Christian. The Greek word literally means “to serve tables,” and as a deaconess, I integrated hospitality and service into my life. I worked for a church for two years as a deaconess and it was this work that helped to prepare me to do the work I am fortunate to be involved in now: that of a doula, working with women and babies and their families.

I am originally from Colorado, but I have lived in the Midwest and in the south. I got back to Colorado in 2025 and that is where I took up birth work. It is a pleasure to be in my beloved home state and serve my beloved fellow Coloradoans.
